For this Sankranthi 4 movies have been released for this Sankranthi festive season. Rajinikanth’s Darbar, Mahesh Babu’s Sarileru Neekevvaru, Allu Arjun’s Ala Vaikunthapuramulo, Nandamuri Kalyan Ram’s Entha Manchivadavura got released on 9th, 11th, 12th and 15th respectively. The films are performing on a decent note at the US market.
Super Star Rajinikanth’s Darbar till date has collected $1,496,669 and will breach 1.5 Million dollar mark today. However the film has to go a long way to reach break even which seems to be tough at the moment. Mahesh Babu’s Sarileru Neekevvaru by the end of Thursday has collected $1,844,946. It is evident that the film will touch 2 Million mark today or by tomorrow. Sarileru Neekevvaru needs to collect 2.7 Million dollars to be termed hit. We have to wait and see whether it is possible or not.
On the other hand Allu Arjun’s Ala Vaikunthapuramulo is quite sensational. The film has collected $1,951,676 till date and will land in 2 million dollar mark by the end of the day. It will also reach break even now. Nandamuri Kalyan Ram’s Entha Manchivadavura has collected $12,724 at the US box office.
