NTR – The name of Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao needs no introduction in not only Telugu Cinema but also for the Indian Cinema. Today morning Young tiger Jr NTR, Nandamuri Kalyanram, Nandamuri Ramakrishna, Nara Bhuwaneshwari, Daggubati Purandheshwari, Suhasini, director YVS Chowdary among others, to pay the tribute to late Chief Minister of United Andhra Pradesh- Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (NTR) on his 24th death anniversary. Nandamuri brothers visited NTR Ghat, where there is a memorial for the late NTR, to pay their respects.
Family members of NTR gathered at NTR Ghat to pay their respects to the late icon Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao on his death anniversary. NTR is considered as one of the greatest actors of India.
Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao was an actor, producer, director, editor and politician who served as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh for seven years over three terms. Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao- NTR received three National Film Awards for co-producing Thodu Dongalu and Seetharama Kalyanam under National Art Theater, Madras, and directing Varakatnam. NTR also received Rashtrapati Awards for his performances in the films Raju Peda and Lava Kusa.
His popular movies are Pathala Bhairavi, Maya Bazaar, Ramudu – Bheemudu, Dana Veera Soora Karna, Gundamma Katha, Bobbili Puli, Missamma, Vetagadu etc. NTR also portrayed negative characters like Ravana and Duryodhana in a heroic way.
NTR made his debut as an actor in a Telugu social film Mana Desam, in 1949, in the direction of L. V. Prasad. NTR entered politics when he founded the Telugu Desam Party on 29 March 1982 in Hyderabad. Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao will forever remain in the hearts of Telugu people for his peerless services to the Telugu community.
On the work front, Jr NTR is currently working with SS Rajamouli for RRR, which also has Mega Power Star Ram Charan in the lead role. He will romance with Olivia Morris in this film.
