Sensational actor Vijay Devarakonda was last seen in a sports-based drama Liger, directed by Puri Jagannath. Unfortunately, the film has tasted bitterness and remained as the biggest disaster at the global box office and on the OTT too.
Now, the film is all set for its world television premiere. It is announced that Liger would be streamed on Star Maa on December 11 at 6 pm, i.e., the coming Sunday. Now it remains to be seen how far the film can reach the audience on small screens. Ananya Panday played the female lead in this film, which marks her Telugu debut.
Liger was released in pan-India level. It was jointly produced by Karan Johar, Charmee Kaur, Puri Jagannath and Apoorva Mehta with a herculean budget. Ramya Krishna, Mike Tyson and others are seen in titular roles. The plot of the film revolves around a bravehearted Liger, who works his way up to find his dream spot in the MMA world, but his life gets complicated when he crosses paths with Taniya.
