Prime Minister Narendra Modi today addressed the nation. He has announced that India will under lock down for another 14 days which means until April 14th. This means that only emergency services will be in functioning. Dairy, Medical, Groceries and Vegetables can be opened and other essential services can function.
India is entering into crucial phase. Local transmission has started and it is time for India to react quickly. Narendra Modi is making sure that he is acting fast with quick decisions. Corona positive cases in India is touching 500 and it is feared that the number is going to be increased exponentially from here. So PM has no option but to extend the lock down period.
We already know that on March 22nd, PM has announced lock down until March 31st. Now it is to be continued till April 14th. There are not ordinary times and as citizens of India we need to act smart. No citizen can come out of the house unless and until it is emergency. Only one person from house can step out of the house for buying essential goods. There will be total curfew in Telangana in evenings. Hope this crisis situation ends very soon.
