The love birds- Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan got their first dose of Covid-19 vaccination at Kumaran Hospitals in Chennai. The film maker Vignesh Shivan confirmed the same by sharing the photographs of the couple getting their first jab of Coronavirus on Instagram and wrote, “Please please get vaccinated. Stay safe, and stay indoors.”
Kollywood celebrities Radikaa Sarath Kumar, Simran, versatile actor Kamal Haasan, Harris Jayaraj and Suhashini Maniratnam got themselves vaccinated recently.
On the work front, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy fame Nayanthara will soon be seen in Kollywood superstar Rajinikanth starrer much hyped movie ‘Annaatthe’, Vignesh Shivan is expected to resume shooting for his directorial film ‘Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal’, which stars Vijay Sethupathi, Samantha Akkineni and lay superstar Nayanthara.
Several celebrities have gotten the vaccine recently, photographs of which have been shared on their microblogging pages. Last week, Darbar and Kabali fame Rajinikanth received the Covid-19 vaccine. The superstar was photographed receiving his first jab. His daughter Soundarya Rajinikanth also confirmed this news by sharing a post on twitter.
Apart from Nayanthara and Rajinikanth, the film Annaatthe also stars National award winning actress Keerthy Suresh, Jackie Shroff, Khushboo, Prakash Raj, and others in the crucial roles. The action drama Annaatthe is scheduled to release on Diwali, 4th November this year.
