Lust Stories 2 Review: Lust Stories 2, produced by 4 filmmakers, has been released on Netflix. Lust Stories 2 starring Neena Gupta, Mrunal Thakur, Angad Bedi, Kajol, Kumud Mishra, Tilottama Shome, Amrita Subhash, Tamannah Bhatia and Vijay Varma R Balki, Konkona Sen Sharma, Sujoy Ghosh and Amit Ravindranath Sharma. In this series, fans were most excited to see Tamannaah and Vijay’s ‘Lust Story’, but their story disappointed them the most.
Story of Neena Gupta: The story is about Mrunal Thakur and Angad Bedi’s relationship, but their grandmother wants them to first do their s….ual compatibility test and then proceed further. In this story, an attempt has been made to show that how even a family that describes itself as having modern thoughts becomes backward on hearing the name of s….x. Neena Gupta has done wonders in this story. Her dialogues seem uncomfortable at times, but the way Neena Gupta says her words, is interesting.
Story of Konkona Sen Sharma: The second story is of Konkona Sen Sharma whose characters are Tilottama Shome and Amrita Subhash. In this story, Konkona takes the mood of the audience to the dark and intense side and very beautifully talks about the desires of women. Tilottama is a single woman and Amrita works in her house. Lust has been given a different meaning in this story, which is enhanced by the acting of these two brilliant actresses. In this story, the best work of Konkona is seen so far. She shows that when it comes to lust, there is no caste, class, color or gender.
Story of Tamannah Bhatia and Vijay Varma: The story that has been talked about the most in this series is Sujoy Ghosh’s story, which he has made with Tamannah Bhatia and Vijay Varma. This story fails to keep the audience engaged. Tamannah and Vijay are shown having an extra-marital affair but the background score of the story does not support it at all. It starts well but due to lack of direction, two of the best actors like Tamannah and Vijay give average performance on the screen.
Story of Kajol and Kumud Mishra: The best story has been told by Amit Sharma. This narrates an unusual story of lust between an aging couple. The interesting thing is that there is nothing new in the story narrated by Amit through Kajol and Kumud Mishra, but its climax and build-up is excellent. The way Kumud Mishra plays his character, you start hating him. Kajol has also done a great job.
