The court granted anticipatory bail to two more in the Madapur drug case that created a sensation in the Telugu states. On Thursday, it issued orders granting anticipatory bail to Kalahar Reddy and the Snart pub owner. Moreover, they were ordered to surrender to the police on September 26. On the other hand, the Narcotic Bureau is also hoping to issue notices to some film and political leaders in this case. They are planning to give notices to those who came in contact mainly with hero Navdeep and his friend Ramchand. It is known that notices have already been given to Navdeep. After questioning Navdeep, the narcotics department intends to issue notices to others.
Earlier, Narcotics Bureau officials had issued a notice under 41A to Navadeep, who was an accused in the Madapur drug case. These notices were served at Navdeep’s house. In the notices, it is mentioned that he has to appear at the office of H-New on 23rd of this month. It is known that Narcotics Bureau is alleging that Navdeep and his friend Ramchand have taken drugs. But Navdeep says that he has nothing to do with this case.
Recently, the Hyderabad police busted a drug racket and arrested eight people, including a film director and the son of a former MP. Regarding this case, Hyderabad Police Commissioner and Telangana State Anti-Narcotics Bureau Director CV Anand told the media that actor Navdeep, who is wanted in this case, is absconding. Navdeep approached the High Court in this order. A petition was filed seeking anticipatory bail. During the hearing on this petition, the Hyderabad police said that they have evidence that Navadeep took drugs from his friend Ramchand, who is already in custody.
