Other celebrities  were also issued the notices for the same by the bench consisting of Justices N Kirubakaran and B Pugalendhi for endorsing online gambling games.

The public interest litigation has been filed in Madras High Court against the promotion of online gambling app. The petition alleges that celebrities including cricketer Virat Kohli, Sourav Ganguly, actor Prakash Raj, Tamannah Bhatia and Rana Daggubati, are promoting online gambling. The online gambling games are banned in Telangana, so  the Madras High Court directed the Tamil Nadu government to impose ban on such online games.
