From the past few weeks, there is a huge debate going on about the releases for Sankranthi. Trade circles got a huge shock when Super Star Mahesh Babu’s Sarileru Neekevvaru and Stylish Star Allu Arjun‘s Ala Vaikunthapuramulo announced their movie’s release dates within an hour time gap. They both announced that their movies are releasing on January 12th. Though it is a festival season, no buyer wants the release of two biggies to happen on the same day. However, till now there is no change in release dates and the scenario has turned into an ego clash more than anything else.
Nobody wants to move their release dates. This further sent all the buyers involved for two movies into trauma. They repeatedly requested both the movie producers to think about release dates. After numerous requests, it can be seen that things have started to change. There is now news being circulated in the industry that, Sarileru Neekevvaru has finally decided to move their release date ahead. It will now release on January 11 which gives a day gap for the release of another movie. It is indeed a huge relief for both the movie distributors and exhibitors. But there is no official confirmation on it. Hope it becomes true.
Coming to the shooting updates of both these movies, Sarileru Neekevvaru has recently completed the Kerala schedule and all the prime cast of the film has posed for a picture recently. We can see Mahesh Babu, Prakash Raj, Rajendra Prasad, Vijaya Shanti, Sangeeta, Rashmika and others in this picture. On the other hand, Ala Vaikunthapuramulo has flown to France to shot the super hit number Samajavaragamana which has become a sensation off-late. This single has already clocked 73 million views and running towards 100 million. The other song Ramulo Ramula is a chartbuster too. Ala Vaikunthpuramulo is helmed by Trivikram Srinivas, while Anil Ravipudi is directing Sarileru Neekevvaru.
