Telugu Superstar Mahesh Babu is currently gearing up for the release of Maharshi, one of the biggest releases of the year. The film, directed by ace filmmaker Vamshi Paidipally and it has Pooja Hegde in the female lead role. Recently in an interview, Mahesh Babu opened up about Sukumar’ project. He said, “Post-Rangasthalam, I was expecting an entertaining story from talented and creative film maker Sukumar but he narrated an intense script. The things did not work out and that is the reason I accepted Anil Ravipudi’ project which I will officially announce soon.
It is known news that during the pre release event of Maharshi, Mahesh Babu forgot to take the name of Puri Jagannadh and Sukumar. But later he made a tweet about Puri Jagannadh and thanked to him. He tweeted, “Missed mentioning an important person in my speech today. In my 25 films journey, it was #Pokiri that made me a Superstar. Thank you so much @purijagan !!! Thanks for giving me Pokiri A film that will always be remembered.”
Though Mahesh Babu made a tweet about Puri Jagannadh but he forgot Sukumar. Many in the social media said that Mahesh Babu had knowingly ignored Sukumar’s name as their project was called off due to their creative differences.
But recently in an interview, he talked about Sukumar’ project. He said, “Sukumar is still his close friend and is ready to do a film with him any time.”
