Superstar Mahesh Babu is currently busy in the promotional activities of his upcoming political drama Bharat Ane Nenu, which is gearing up for grand release on 20th April. Helmed by Srimanthudu fame Koratala Siva, Bollywood actress Kiara Advani is playing the female lead. In BAN, Mahesh is essaying the role of Chief Minister of undivided Andhra Pradesh.
Mahesh Babu said that he drew inspiration from his father- Superstar Krishna and his relatives in the politics to appear as a politician. When he was asked about his favorite Chief Minister, Mahesh replied, “ Don’t try to drag me in controversies. If I say the name of a person, other will be hurt. So I am not interested to give the answer of this question.” Later he said, “Bharat Ane Nenu is releasing on 20th April and the day is very important for me as it is my mother’s birthday.” Someone in the press, pointed that birthday of Andhra Pradesh’s Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu also falls on the same day.
Mahesh said,” Oh, then it is good, our film is releasing on the right date.”.”
Mahesh Babu also talked about his preparation for the CM role. He said, “I watched several videos of my brother-in-law Jayadev Galla for the reference to play the Chief Minister.”
