After delivering the successful movie Bharat Ane Nenu, Mahesh Babu joined the sets of his prestigious project, the 25th film Maharshi, which is progressing at the brisk pace in the direction of Vamsi Paidpally of Oopiri fame. Earlier it was heard that Mahesh Babu starrer Maharshi will be arrived at the theaters in the month of April and will be the first release in 2019 Summer. But now according to the latest buzz, the makers are planning to postpone the release of Maharshi.
Today the makers of Majili starring Akkineni Naga Chaitanya and Samantha have confirmed the news that their movie will be released on 5th April. On the other-side, Sai Dharam Tej starrer Chitralhari will also be arrived at the theaters in the month of April. So the makers of Maharshi have decided to not compete with these movies. According to the latest buzz, the shoot of Maharshi is also getting delayed and that is the main reason that the makers are not making announcement regarding its release date.
Maharshi is all about friendship, love and Scarifies. The movie will also deal with the problems of farmers. Pooja Hagde is playing the female lead whereas Allari Naresh will be seen playing friend of Mahesh Babu.
Meenakshi Dixit, who has been the part of several movies in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi movies till date, has got a meaty role in the Mahesh Babu starrer Maharshi. Recently during the media interaction the actress said, “I play a New York-born girl and what is interesting about my role is the relationship between me and Mahesh Babu.”
Maharshi is written and directed by Vamsi Paidipally and produced by C. Ashwini Dutt, Dil Raju and Prasad V. Potluri, under the banners of Vyjayanthi Movies, Sri Venkateswara Creationsand PVP Cinema. The music of the film is composed by Devi Sri Prasad.
