Yesterday, Twitter India released the male and female lists of most tweeted south superstars in the year 2020 and according to the ranking, Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu and National award winning actress Keerthy Suresh bagged the top honours. This year Mahesh Babu entertained his fans with only one movie Sarileru Neekevvaru, directed by Anil Ravipudi, which was released on the occasion of Sankranthi and emerged as a super hit at the box office. Keerthy Suresh was seen in woman centric movies- Penguin and Miss India, this year.
Maharshi and Bharat Ane Nenu star Mahesh Babu was followed by Jana sena Chief and actor Power Star Pawan Kalyan, Vijay, Jr NTR, Suriya, Allu Arjun, Ram Charan, Dhanush, Mohanlal and Megastar Chiranjeevi. Coming to the actresses, gorgeous diva Kajal Aggarwal, Samantha Akkineni, Kannada girl Rashmika Mandanna, Pooja Hegde, Taapsee Pannu, Tamannah Bhatia, Rakul Preet Singh, Shruti Haasan and Trisha Krishnan ruled on social media platform.
Among the movies, it was Tamil star Vijay starrer Master that topped the list followed by Power Star Pawan Kalyan’ court room drama Vakeel Saab and Ajith starrer Valimai. SS Rajamouli’ directorial venture RRR is the 6th most tweeted about movie of 2020.
The results are based on the total number of retweets / quote tweets by Twitter accounts in India between 1st January and 15th November this year.
