Telugu Superstar Mahesh Babu is basking in the success of  his previous offering ‘Maharshi’ which is based on the farmer’ problems. Maharshi was Mahesh Babu’ 25th film, which was arrived at the theaters during the summer and opened to a fantastic response from both critics and viewers.  The movie, directed by Vamsi Paidipally, was made on the budget of  Rs 90 crore,  but it has grossed over Rs 175 crore at the global box-office in its full run.  Maharshi inspired few citizens to take up weekend agriculture as a hobby to support farming.  Recently Twitter revealed the five most influential moments in 2019. Thala Ajith has topped this list whereas Mahesh Babu is on fourth place.  Thala Ajith starrer  #Viswasam stood in the first place, whereas  Mahesh Babu starrer  #Maharshi, secured the fourth position among the top 5 India trends. Now Maharshi has become the most viewed film on Amazon Prime Video among all Telugu movies of this year 2019.

Mahesh Babu starrer Maharshi had made its Amazon Prime debut in the month os  July 2019 and now the movie has achieved this feat in the OTT platform within just four months of its release. Maharshi overtook  each and every film and has become the most viewed film on Amazon Prime Video among all Telugu movies of this year 2019 within a short span of time.

Maharshi also has Pooja Hegde, Allari Naresh and Jagapathi Babu in key roles. Directed by Vamsi Paidipally and is jointly bankrolled by Dil Raju, C Ashwini Dutt, and Prasad V Potluri through their production companies Sri Venkateswara Creations, Vyjayanthi Movies, and PVP Cinema.

In the meantime, Mahesh Babu is currently busy with  his next upcoming flick ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’, which has Rashmika Mandanna in the female lead role and it will hit the theaters on 12th January, 2019.
