Telugu Superstar Mahesh Babu starrer Guntur Kaaram helmed by Trivikram Srinivas has hit the theaters today on 12th January. The movie is made on a huge budget of Rs 150 crore. It stars Sreeleela and Meenakshi Chaudhary as the leading ladies. Jagapathi Babu, Ramya Krishna, Jayaram, Raghu Babu, Mahesh Achanta, Prakash Raj and Brahmanandam are playing pivotal roles. The film has the music by SS Thaman. Mahesh Babu is currently one of the highest paid heroes in the Tollywood industry. He usually gets more than Rs 70 crores as remuneration for each movie. But for Guntur Kaaram Mahesh Babu took only Rs 40-50 crores.
Guntur Kaaram is all about the story of Ramana (Mahesh Babu) who lives with his father Satyam (Jayaram) after his mother Vasundhara (Ramya Krishnan) estranges him. Meanwhile, Ramana is summoned by his maternal grandfather Venkata Swamy (Prakash Raj) to sign documents that deny any property rights. He demands to see his mother Vasundhara, but she refuses.
S Radha Krishna is producing Guntur Kaaram under the Haarika and Hassine Creations banner. Thaman S is scoring the film’s entire background score and tunes. Naveen Nooli and PS Vinod are working as the editor and cinematographer of Mahesh Babu starrer.
