Member of Parliaments belonging to the TDP continue to step up pressure to ensure that the promises made to them during the state’s bifurcation are met. TDP MPs also continued to protest outside the Gandhi Statue in Parliament, where they could be seen chanting ‘We want justice’. Some of the placards they were seen holding read ‘Save Andhra Pradesh’, ‘Implement AP Reorganisation Act Commitments Announce Railway Zone’, ‘We want steel plant at Kadapa’, ‘Follow Alliance Dharma’, ‘We Demand Special Status for Andhra Pradesh State’ and ‘Keep your promises’.
Galla Siddharth was seen holding placard and he staged dharna demanding for the special status in Parliament premises.
A TDP leader said, “Siddharth Galla gave a glamour touch to the agitation and provided relief to the routine dharnas. His presence in Delhi gave us some attraction and attention from the media.
On the otherside, the sources close to the Galla family say that very soon Siddharth will test his luck in Telugu Film Industry and Mahesh Babu is busy in the finalization of script for him.
