When the biopic of legendary actor and late Chief minister of Andhra Pradesh Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao is being made by Teja in which Balakrishna will be seen essaying the role of his father, Anando Brahma director Mahi Raghav gave shock to everyone by announcing the biopic of late Chief Minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy, who passed away in 2009 in a helicopter crash. To be produced by Vijay Chilla and Shashi Devireddy, the film is slated to go on the floors later this year and Malayalam Superstar Mammootty is on the board to reprise the role of YS Rajasekahr Reddy in this big budget movie.
In Mahanati- the biopic on legendary actress Savitri, Mallu beauty Keerthy Suresh is playing the titular role and now everyone is shocked after hearing that a nonlocal actor is going to reprise the role of YSR in Yatra. He is essaying the role of Congress scion. Few are saying that the makers are doing mistake, as they brought Malayalam star on the board to play the lead role. It has also come out that the film will show only YSR’s iconic ‘pada yatra’, which voted him to power in 2004. If this is the content of Yatra, then people will feel it like an incomplete meal because there is so much about YSR to be shown from his medical student days to starting Reddy Congress and then becoming the CM of Andhra Pradesh, and the other schemes like Arogya Sri etc.
