Manchu Vishnu is currently working for the upcoming film Kannappa. The actor has grand plans for big-budget Indian epic drama.
Manchu Vishnu starrer which also has Mohan Babu in the important role revisits the folk tale of Kannappa, an atheist hunter who became a devotee of Hindu god Shiva and plucked out his eyes in an act of the extreme devotion.
According to the latest report, the second schedule of Kannappa is currently underway at a rapid pace in New Zealand. Mohan Babu and Vishnu are participating in this schedule.
Manchu Vishnu is playing the titular role in the latest interpretation of the story, written by him and helmed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, who is best known for his television adaptations of Indian epics “Ramayana” and “Mahabharata.” The movie also has Prabhas, Mohanlal, Shiva Rajkumar and others in the important role.
Manchu Vishnu starrer Kannappa is produced by 24 Frames Factory and AVA Entertainment and it is slated to hit the theaters in Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada and Hindi languages in the third quarter of 2024.
