Recently, Manchu Vishnu announced in his interview that there would be a sequel for his earlier blockbuster movie Dhee, for which Srinu Vaitla donned a directing hat. It was a super successful film of the year 2007. It was liked by all sections of people, as it is billed to be a comedy action thriller.
Now, the latest grapevine is that director Srinu Vaitla is not at all interested to frame the sequel of the film, even though the team has commenced its shoot. This is because of the lead actor Vishnu, who kept the project on hold and shifted his complete focus on Ginna.
With this, Srinu Vaitla completely left the Dhee sequel and he is currently looking to kickstart another project with Gopichand. He narrated the script of his new project to Gopichand along with Gopi Mohan and got a positive nod from the actor. As a result, the film’s pre-production work has also been started in recent times.
The film will be made in a commercial genre and it is going to be financed by an NRI based in USA. Rest of the details about the film are kept under wraps as of now. And they are expected to be out in the coming days.
