The music director Mani Sharma played a vital role in shaping the careers of Telugu Superstar Mahesh Babu and Power star Pawan Kalyan. For Mahesh, he gave beautiful albums like Murari, Arjun, Pokiri, Athidhi, Okkadu, and Khaleja. For Pawan Kalyan, Mani Sharma composed albums like Kushi, Gudumbha Shankar, Balu, and Teen Maar. Mani Sharma started his career programming under S. Rajeswara Rao and other composers including Ramesh Naidu and MM Keeravani. Film director Ram Gopal Varma alias RGV had him compose the background music for Raathri and Antham, plus a song for Antham. Mani Sharma has delivered memorable audio albums to stars like Mahesh Babu, Pawan Kalyan, and Chiranjeevi.
Recently during an interview, Mani Sharma expressed his desire to collaborate with Mahesh and Pawan Kalyan again. Mani Sharma said, “It would be great if Superstar Mahesh Babu and Pawan Kalyan gave opportunities to everyone. I am not saying I want to work on every movie. If they give a chance to all the music directors, audiences can get to listen to different soundtracks.”
Mani Sharma also added, “The only thing which hurts me the big stars are not ready to work with me anymore. I’m not expecting the heroes to give all the chances to me but they can consider giving equal opportunities to myself, Thaman and others. I’m happy even if I get one film while Devi Sri Prasad and Thaman get two films each.”
