·         Cinematography

·         CGI creation of Silk Smitha

·         Time travel novelty

 Minus Points:

·         Slow Narration

·         Few boring scenes

·         Songs

Performance : Vishal has done a good job in this movie and has done a good job with his role.  He is terrific both as a gangster and a mechanic. Especially with his body language, Vishal acted very well in some emotional and feel good sequences. SJ Suryah, who played the role of the villain, impressed with his performance and body ease. Ritu Varma, who played the heroine, did not have much scope. However, she has done full justice to her role. Selvaraghavan’s performance is also natural. Sunil, Abhinaya, Kingsley, YG Mahendran and also the rest of the cast have done well in their roles.

Technical: Talking about technicians, the director Adhik Ravichandran’s take is good. However, he failed to write good content. His screenplay is not interesting. The music by G V Prakash Kumar is okay. But the background score of the second half is not impressive in some key scenes. Abhinandan Ramanujam’s cinematography work is very good. Editing is just ok. S. Vinod Kumar’s production values are very good.

Analysis: This film Mark Antony which has an engaging mode, has some fun elements and good action scenes and some beautiful emotions. Especially Vishal – Suryah’s characters, their cinematography and their getups and setup are good. Moreover, the time travel novelty in the movie is also good. More than anything else, this movie is very new in Vishal’s film career.

In this time travel action entertainer, the direction, some fun and action elements and Vishal – S.J. Suryah’s performance are a plus for the movie. CGI creation of Silk Smitha is good.  But, missing interesting elements in the first half, slow narration at some places, and boring scenes, regular and repeated scenes are the minus of the movie. Overall, this Mark Antony movie will connect well with a certain audience.
