
A massive fire broke out in a timber depot located in the MM Pahadi region of Attapur, Hyderabad and this incident took place on Sunday. This incident caused the great deal of panic and concern among local residents. But the swift action by the authorities ensured that fire was brought under control timely. No casualties or injuries were reported in this incident.
As per the statement provided by the Rajendranagar Divisional Forest Officer, Purna Santan, A massive fire broke out at a timber depot in Rajendra Nagar and the cause of the fire is still unknown. It is under investigation.
The locals suspected that the fire was caused by a short circuit.
The officials informed that the fire started at 8 pm on Sunday evening. The Heavy stock of wood was kept in warehouse and at least 7-8 fire tenders were pressed into service to douze the blaze. The fire was brought under control after some time. There was no loss of life reported.
