The big budget movie Guntur Kaaram which has Telugu Superstar Mahesh Babu in the lead role, is progressing at the brisk pace. The much hyped movie is being helmed by Trivikram Srinivas and is being produced by S Radhakrishna under his banner Haarika & Hassine Creations. The sources say that Trivikram Srinivas has paid special attention to ensure that there are many special features in Mahesh Babu starrer Guntur Kaaram. The upcoming film marks the third collaboration of Trivikram Srinivas and Mahesh Babu after Athadu and Khaleja. It is known that Meenakshi Chaudhary who is known for her roles in films like Khiladi and HIT 2, has been roped in Guntur Kaaram for the second female lead. Recently during the pre release event of Hatya, the actress confirmed her presence in Guntur Kaaram.
On this occasion Meenakshi Chaudhary said: I have always been a big fan of Mahesh Babu Garu. We just wrapped up the first schedule of Guntur Kaaram & my first day’s first shot was with Mahesh Babu Garu. I was beyond grateful.
Initially Pooja Hegde was on the board to play the main female lead but she walked away from this project. There is a strong buzz in the film industry that Sreeleela has replaced Pooja Hegde in Guntur Kaaram.
