The main case against Alphabet is the Google search engine. The main allegation is that Google has taken steps to stifle competition and innovation, which has caused damage to customers.

Satya Nadella commented that Google has entered into agreements with smartphone and computer manufacturers to keep their search engine as the default browser, and that is why it is dominating.

But these claims were rejected by the lawyers on behalf of Google. There are computers where Microsoft Binge is also the default search engine. But the data shows that many people have switched from Binge to Google. Binge did not become a hit because of Microsoft’s mistakes. It has nothing to do with Google,’ argued the lawyers.

US District Judge Amit Mehta has been investigating the cases related to antitrust against Google for the past four weeks. This investigation is going on around the agreements that Google has made with Apple and other smartphone manufacturers in the matter of search engine. Many people have already appeared before the court. Recently Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella also heard arguments.
