It is known that former world heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson has been roped in for Vijay Deverakonda starrer sport based movie Liger. He will make a cameo appearance in the climax portions of the Telugu film, which is helmed by Puri Jaganandh of ismart Shankar and Pokiri fame.
Liger marks the first collaboration of Vijay Deverakonda and director Puri Jagannadh. The film will feature the Arjun Reddy actor as an MMA (mixed martial arts) fighter with a stutter and he will be seen sharing the screen space with Ananya Panday and the upcoming film marks her debut in Telugu film industry.
The shooting of the new schedule will start soon in Las Vegas, USA. The sources close to the makers revealed that the some crucial scenes related to a boxing match will be shot during this schedule and a small clip of boxing champion Mike Tyson himself getting ready for the shoot is going viral on the social media.
Apart from the lead pair- Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday, the film Liger also has Ramya Krishnan, Ronit Roy, Vishu Reddy, Ali, Makarand Deshpande and Getup Srinu in the crucial role and it is jointly bankrolled by Karan Johar, Puri Jagannadh and Charmee Kaur.
