Minissha Lamba made her debut with the movie Yahaan which was released in 2005. She is known for acting in Bachna Ae Haseeno, Honeymoon Travels Pvt Ltd , Well Done Abba, and Bheja Fry 2. Many actors from Indian film industries have spoken out about their horrible casting couch experiences and Minissha Lamba is the latest celebrity to join this list.
Few days ago, Neena Gupta had spoken about her horror story with a producer who expected her to sleep with him for the work. Recently Minissha Lamba said that she has faced the casting couch a few times and she managed to handle it by insisting that meetings be held in the offices and ignoring the insinuations.
Minissha Lamba said, “I think in any industry where there are men, a lot of men are going to try. This entertainment industry is not any different. I have faced the things like the person not confirming for the movie and saying, ‘Why don’t you meet for dinner? Let’s talk.’ But I used to say, ‘No, why don’t we meet in the office? I don’t know about dinner but I am definitely free, we can meet in the office tomorrow, if you want to discuss further.’ I have handled such type of situation like that. Sometimes, I handle the situation by pretending not to understand what you are saying.”
On the work front, Minissha will be seen in Raaj Aashoo’ Kutub Minar starring Karanvir Bohra.
