SS Rajamouli’ magnum opus RRR scripted history by winning the 95th Academy Award in the Best Original Song category for Naatu Naatu that featured Young Tiger Jr NTR and Mega Power Star Ram Charan. A moment of pride for the team including SS Rajamouli, Kaal Bhairava, Karthikeya, MM Keeravani, Jr NTR and Ram Charan. RRR, which is bankrolled by DVV Danayya under the banner of DVV Entertainment, brought laurels not just for India but also took Telugu cinema to new heights with its commercial success. In his speech, an overwhelmed music composer MM Keeravani sang a song and dedicated the award to Rajamouli, RRR team and every Indian.
The music director MM Keeravani said, ‘Thank you Academy. I grew up listening to carpenters, and now here, I am with Oscars. There was only one wish in my mind, so were SS Rajamouli and my family. The movie RRR has to win every pride of the India and must put me on top of the world.’ Thank you, Karthikeya, and Thank you all!”.
On the otherside, Kaal Bhairava along with singer Rahul Sipligunj crooned the song Naatu Naatu. The audience at Dolby Auditorium in Los Angeles had opportunity to listen to the father son duo on Monday morning.
