Everyone is aware of recent Modi’s tour to the US and his adrenaline filled speech at the UNGA event. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has attended the 56th convocation at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras shared and his feelings as India could make a great nation only with the participation of 130 crore Indians. He received a very warm welcome in between chants of Modi, Modi, with a massive crowd around as soon as he stepped in the city.

He recalled the prominence of Tamil language during his visit to USA, “During my USA trip when I said something in Tamil — when I told the world that Tamil is the world’s ancient language, the language became a talking point in America.”

While Modi addressing a meet at UNGA, he quoted Sangam era Tamil poet Kaniyan Pungundranar to stress the fragmented world is nobody’s interest. Modi further stressed a quote said by a poet around 3,000 years ago, ‘yaadhum oore, yaavarum kelir’ (we belong to all places and to everyone).

Modi further added saying, during his visit to USA, he realized that the world was looking at the country with the bigger expectations and they are getting hyped day by day. PM felt that it is our duty to not only make India a great nation but, to meet the expectations of the world too.
