The police are said to have house arrested Vidyanikethan educational trust Chairman and the actor M Mohan Babu today.
Mohan Babu along with students has raised his voice against Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu for not carrying out implementing the fee-reimbursement issue. Mohan Babu has even launched a rally along with the students on Friday against the delay of students fee reimbursement from AP State Government. Tirupati Urban Police tried to arrest Mohan Babu on the charges of violation of police 30 act and 144 CRPC.
Mohan Babu’ planned to take out protest rally along with students in Tirupathi city roads. While election commission restrictions are in force Chandra Giri Police forcefully stopped at in front of Vidyanikethan College. There was a strong verbal war between the Vidyanikethan educational trust Chairman and Police. According to the latest update, Mohan Babu has put under house arrest by the Tirupati police officials today.
Mohan Babu said the students were yet to receive the reimbursement amount since the past 3 years.
If the government still did not respond to the protest and reimburse the fees, Mohan Babu threatened to go to court to claim the fees.
Mohan Babu and his sons Manchu Vishnu and Manchu Manoj together started their protest at 7:00 am on the streets in front of school in Rangampeta, Tirupati Rural.
Mohan Babu will remain house arrested until the ambience turn out manageable.
Mohan Babu wrote on his Twitter, “Wanted to take a peaceful rally today in Tirupathi protesting the non payment of the fee reimbursement of the students by the Govt…. Police have arrived at our home in Tirupathi and looks like they are not going to allow the rally”

Manchu Vishnu wrote on Twitter, “Father has never been a person who can be bullied. He taught us to challenge bullies. Why other college owners are not talking about the fee reimbursement, only they can answer. Either they are scared of the big bullies or in bed with them.”
