Currently Monalisa is busy in her new Bengali Web series  ‘Dupur Thakurpo season 2’, where the actress is playing the character of a Bengali bhabhi Jhuma Boudi.  The Bengali beauty took to Instagram to share  her dancing video, she captioned it, “#JhumaBoudi is finally here to be the queen of your heart. Tune in to #DupurThakurpo Season 2 only on @hoichoi.tv and go crazy with all of us!” Coming on the video, Antara Biswas is seen dancing in the rain. At the end of the video, she teases her fans with a  wink.

Monalisa made her debut in Bhojpuri film industry with Bhole Shankar, which was released in 2008. Currently she  is one of the highest paid actresses in Bhojpuri cinema.

The web-series Dupur Thakurpo season 2 is all about the story about young boys who get attracted to a woman in their neighborhood. Apart from Monalisa, the web series has other stars like Indrajit Majumder, Kartikey Tripathi, Apratim Chatterjee, Soumendra Bhattacharya, and Taufeeq Ahmed in supporting roles.
