The Mumbai Diaries 26/11 web series that came in the wake of the Mumbai attacks in 2021 became a super hit. Now two years later Mumbai Diaries Season 2 came as a sequel.

Mrs Kulkarni files a case against Dr. Kaushik Oberoi (Mohit Raina) for treating a terrorist and failing to save her husband during the 26/11 blasts. The case related to it is going on in the court. Due to the floods in Mumbai, the judge could not come, so the verdict was postponed. Kaushik sends his wife Ananya (Tina Desai) to Pune by car and goes to the Bombay General Hospital. Due to this sequence, many people are exposed to accidents and join the hospital.

What conditions did the Bombay General Hospital staff and doctors face due to the floods that created havoc in Mumbai? What are the challenges faced by them? What was lost due to floods? What is the mental state of the medical staff who are working long hours? What actions did personal life matters lead to at such a time? Has the court ruled against Kaushik? Did he resign? What role did the media play? Mumbai Diaries Season 2 series is a combination of interesting things.

Season 2 starts with continuing the mood of the first series. The medical personnel encountered at the hospital during the blasts showed what the mental state was like after the attack. Waiting for compensation for the victims of the attacks, Mrs. Kulkarni’s filing of a murder case against Dr Kaushik is taken into the story with suspense.

The efforts to save the people lost in the floods, the patients who wanted to save the patients in their hearts, but were unable to survive without the facilities, touched each and every topic from the heart. And the media coverage that turns everything into a business has been well dealt with and shown. The length of the series is very thrilling and it has been successfully screened. And the BGM has created a mood suitable for the scenes.

Mohit Raina’s performance as Devonka Dev Mahadev is impressive. Kaushik impresses as Oberoi. Shreya, Prakash, Konkana Sen, Natasha and others lived up to their performance. Finally, this medical thriller series Mumbai Diaries Season 2 gives a thrilling experience of what will happen when.
