Recently Mrunal made sensational comments about his movie career and his family’s support. Mrunal Thakur said, “We are a Marathi family. My parents don’t like me coming towards acting. Because there is no one related to cinema in our family.”
She added, “I want to thank my family because initially I didn’t have their support since they were scared of what was going to happen. My parents had reservations about the entertainment industry, whether I’ll get good roles or not. But to begin with, when I started my career with tv, I felt a sense of familiarity and belongingness. And then I made my debut in Marathi cinema.”
She further said, “Many are comparing me with Smita Patil. I am really proud of this.”
She concluded it by saying, “ My parents are very happy about me now.”
