Akkineni Naga Chaitanya has officially completed 11 years in the Telugu film industry as of today. His first film Josh was released on 5th September in 2009. Josh was helmed by Vasu Varma, and produced by noted producer, Dil Raju. The film was a commercial Above Average. Naga Chaitanya was praised as an actor. The story of Josh was very similar to Naga Chaitanya’s father, Nagarjuna’ 1989 Ram Gopal Varma’ film Siva where a student tries to eliminate the mafia involved in the students. However, Naga Chaitanya scored a blockbuster with Gautam Vasudev Menon’ directorial venture Ye Maya Chesave, in which he shared the screen space with Samantha Akkineni.
On the professional front, Naga Chaitanya will be next seen in Sekar Kammula’ magnum opus Love Story in which Fidaa and Premam fame Sai Pallavi is playing the female lead. Apart from the lead pair, the movie Love Story also has Rao Ramesh, Posani Krishna Murali and Devayani in the supporting roles.
The romantic entertainer which is based on honour killing, is bankrolled by Narayandas Narang and P Ram Mohan Rao under the banner of Amigos Creations in association with Sree Venkateswara Cinemas.
Recently Naga Chaitanya also made official announcement regarding his next project Thank You.
