It has been almost two years since Tollywood couple Naga Chaitanya -Samantha Ruth Prabhu broke up. But still there are speculations about them in the media. Last year, both of them officially divorced. However, most of the attention is on them. Recently Naga Chaitanya responded on this matter. Participating in an interview as part of Custody promotion, Naga Chaitanya shared interesting things about Samantha.
Naga Chaitanya said, “Yes, it’s been2 years since we separated. It’s been a year since the official divorce. The court has granted us both a divorce. We both have moved on in our lives. I fully respect and enjoy the phase I’m in right now.” Talking about Samantha, she was praised as a lovely person. Naga Chaitanya said, “Samantha is a lovely person. She deserves all the happiness. Things between us are awkward when media speculation spreads. I feel sad about this.”
Chaitu and Sam worked together in five films. Ye Maaya Chesave (2010), Autonagar Surya(2014), Manam(2014), Mahanati(2018), Majili(2019) films. After dating for many days, the two got married in 2017 in Goa. They announced that they are separating in 2021 and they got divorced last year.
On the work front, Naga Chaitanya starrer Custody is gearing up for the grand release on May 12. Venkat Prabhu directed this movie which has Krithi Shetty as the heroine. On the other hand, Samantha is working for Khushi.
