If ongoing buzz in the media and film industry is to be believed, Akkineni Naga Chaitanya is going to play the lead role in the Telugu remake of Bollywood hit movie Chhichhore. Chhichhore is a comedy-drama film directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under the banner of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. The film starring Sushant Singh Rajput, Shraddha Kapoor, Varun Sharma, Naveen Polishetty, Prateik Babbar, Tahir Raj Bhasin, and Sadanand Verma.
The sources say that Naga Chaitanya has already given his nod for the remake of Bollywood blockbuster Chhichhore. Geetha Govindam fame Parasuram may direct this upcoming project. The discussion regarding Chhichhore remake has been already started and very soon the official announcement will be made. A top production house will bankroll this Naga Chaitanya starrer Chhichhore remake. Majili star is planning to watch the Bollywood movie Chhichhore.
On the other side, Naga Chaitanya is holding talks with young director Ajay Bhupathi of RX 100 fame for a project which will be officially announced soon.
Currently, Naga Chaitanya is working with critically-acclaimed director Sekhar Kammula for an upcoming untitled project, which is a romantic drama in which he is sharing the screen space with Fidaa and Premam fame Sai Pallavi. In this film, Naga Chaitanya will be seen speaking in the Telangana dialect. The movie is being bankrolled by Narayan Das K Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao under their banner. It is heard that the upcoming film is a romantic tale of a boy and a girl moving into the city from the village and what ensues further.
Naga Chaitanya is also waiting for the release of comedy-drama film Venky Mama, produced by D Suresh Babu under Suresh Productions banner and directed by KS Ravindra alias Bobby. The movie has Payal Rajput and Raashi Khanna in the female lead and it will hit the theaters on 13th December.
