Samantha Akkineni starrer Oh Baby is doing decent collections at the box office and currently the movie is running successfully. Kollywood cinematographer Richard Prasad who handled the cinematography of ‘Oh Baby’ is currently enjoying the grand success of the film. Richard Prasad has earlier worked with Akkineni Naga Chaitanya for the movie Dochay. It is heard that Naga Chaitanya recommended the name of Richard Prasad to Nandini Reddy for Samantha starrer Oh Baby. The talented lensman being a ‘eye’ for decent hit movies like Nenu, Swamy Raa Raa, Dochchay, Kotha Janatha, he became quite popular in South Indian film Industry.
After working with Naga Chaitanya on Dochchay, the actor recommended him (Richard Prasad) for Samantha’ Oh Baby.
Reverently in an interview, Richard Prasad has revealed that it is none other than his ‘Dohchay’ Naga Chaitanya who has recommended his name for Samantha’ ‘Oh Baby’. He also revealed that Nandini Reddy was impressed with his work and also offered another movie to him.
Richard Prasad has done cinematography for more than 50 movies since he has entered the film industry. He spent his early years in Chennai where his father was working as a makeup artist. Richard Prasad has won many awards and has got recognition for his work as a cinematographer by winning Best Cinematographer award, given by Sangam Academy Award for the movie “Nenu” in 2004.
