Nagarjuna comments on RGV teary eyesNagarjuna is portraying the role of a cop in upcoming action entertainer Officer. The movie, helmed by controversial film maker RGV, is scheduled to hit the theaters on 1st June. Yesterday the makers organized the pre released event of  this forthcoming film in N Convention of Hyderabad. Amala Akkineni, Naga Chaitanya and Akhil also attended the event. On this occasion, Nag made sensational comment on Ram Gopal Varma.  The actor said, “Shiva, the directorial debut of RGV,  had also not only given break to the director but also given Amala, my better half, to me. Telugu film Industry is divided into before Shiva and after Shiva.” Nag further added “RGV, do you also get tears? I have seen that your eyes are turning wet.”

Nag also made a hilarious comment on his age and said, “ I am still young and reminded Naga Chaitanya’s comment who said that his father is like his brother.”  The actor also expressed confidence that upcoming cop drama will hit the audience in their heart.  When RGV was coming on to the stage to deliver his speech, he was accompanied by foreign girls. The filmmaker said, “I don’t know anything about the girls.” He further added swearing to God, it is a conspiracy of someone from his unit.  Ramu also spoke about the movie and said, he likes crime drama, rowdyism and action films as he used to consider back benchers as heroes in his childhood and he used to admire them for their brave and arrogant activities.

Animal activist and former actress, Amala Akkineni who not only acted in Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada, Bollywood films but also won two Filmfare Awards, said that she would watch  the film along with others. Keeravani said, “ Every father wants his son surpasses him. Currently Nag is enjoying the successes of both of his sons- Naga Chaitanya and Akhil.”

Officer is written and directed by Ram Gopal Varma, and jointly produced by RGV and  Sudheer Chandra under the banner A Company Production. Myra Sareen is playing the female lead.
