Nagma started her acting career in Bollywood and acted in a few of the biggest Bollywood movies and in other languages. She has acted in a broad range of India’s languages: Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Bhojpuri, Malayalam, Kannada, Bengali, Punjabi, and Marathi. Nagma made her debut with Baghi: A Rebel for Love, opposite Salman Khan was Hindi cinema’s seventh highest-grossing film in 1990. She made her Telugu debut with Peddinti Alludu , directed by Sarath in 1991.Her Telugu films include 1992’s Gharana Mogudu with Megastar Chiranjeevi, Allari Alludu with Nagarjuna Akkineni and Major Chandrakanth with NTR and Mohan Babu. Her Tamil films include Baasha with Rajnikanth and 1994’s Kadhalan with Prabhu Deva.
The sources say that recently Trivikram Srinivas contacted Nagma, who is active member of Congress party, and discussed about the possibility of the project. The sources say that though Nagma has given her verbal consent but did not sign Allu Arjun’s starrer yet. If everything will go as per plan, she will be seen essaying the role of Allu Arjun’s mother.
Allu Arjun’s last film release was Naa Peru Surya Naa Illu India, which was a summer release last year. The film, directed by writer Vakkantham Vamsi, turned out to be a big flop. Following this debacle at the box office, Allu Arjun took some time deciding on his next. His film with Trivikram Srinvas will go on the floor from March.
