The upcoming biopic on former Chief Minister of United Andhra Pradesh and TDP founder N.T. Rama Rao has become the talk of town. Recently it was heard that Bollywood beauty Vidya Balan who is popular for The Dirty Picture and Begam Jaan has been approached to play the role of NTR’s wife Basavatarakam in this upcoming biopic, which will be helmed by Teja. The makers are also planning to bring Paresh Rawal on the board to play the role of Nadendla Bhaskara Rao.
If ongoing buzz in media and film Industry is to be believed, Baji Rao Mastani and Padmaavat actress Deepika Padukone is going to reprise the role of Sridevi in this film. The sources say that NTR and Sridevi’s combination was a big hit and they had many popular songs. It’s a short role and they feel that Deepika is perfect for it.
It has also come out that Dr. Rajasekhar will play Nara Chandrababu Naidu’s role. The film has been already launched in the presence of Vice President Venkaiah Naidu. Nandamuri Balakrishna will essay the role of his father. Most of the biopic will be filmed in Hyderabad itself with some key scenes in Nimmakuru, which is the late NTR’s native village.
The upcoming biopic is jointly produced by Vishnu Induri, Sai Korrapati and Balayya under Brahma Teja Productions banner. M M Keeravani is the music director. The movie is expected to hit the theaters on the eve of Dasara 2019.
