Nani starrer MCA- Middle Class Abbayi, the action comedy film written and directed by Venu Sriram, was released in 2017 and it was a biggest hit at the box office. It was funded by Dil Raju under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations. The movie has Sai Pallavi and Bhumika Chawla in the lead roles, with Naresh, Vijay Varma, and Rajiv Kanakala in supporting roles.
The Hindi remake of the film- MCA titled Nikamma was released last Friday but it disappointed the movie lovers. It is turning out a commercially flop at the box office. Nani’ another movie Jersey, which was a hit in Tollywood, was a flop in Bollywood. In this manner, Nani is getting the biggest hit jolt from Bollywood as his remakes of MCA and Jersey ended as a mega flop.
The collections of Nikamma were dull as the film made only 50 lakhs on day one in India and till datt it earned Rs 1.51 cr at Indian box office. Yesterday the trade analyst, Taran Adarsh shared the collections figure of Nikammaon Twitter, “ Nikamma meets with a tragic fate… After a low starting point [Day 1], the dismal response on Day 2 and 3 seals its fate… Fri 51 lacs, Sat 48 lacs, Sun 52 lacs. Total: Rs 1.51 cr. India biz.”
Radhe Shyam fame Bhagyashree’s son, Abhimanyu reprised Nani’s role in this film whereas Shilpa Shetty reprised the role of Bhumika Chawla.
