Currently all eyes are on Natural star Nani starrer upcoming sport based drama Jersey. The makers have decided to start the promotional activities of the film. Now according to the latest update, the first single ‘Adhento Gaani Vunnapaatuga’ from Jersey will be out on 14th February on the occasion of Valentine day. It seems Nani has also joined the valentine day race.
Nani himself has confirmed the news by sharing a poster on Twitter, “This Valentine’s Day You will feel the magic An @anirudhofficial Musical @gowtam19 @ShraddhaSrinath @SitharaEnts #Jersey.”
Adento Gaani Vunnapatuga, the song will be a soothing romantic number shot on the lead pair. U Turn fame Shraddha Srinath is playing the female lead. Nani is playing the role of an aging cricketer who makes a comeback.
Jersey is being directed by Gautam Tinnanri and is bankrolled by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi under the banner of Sithara Entertainments whereas the film has the music by Kollywood sensational music composer Anirudh Ravichander.
Heart Attack beauty Adah Sharma, who played Pallavi Kolasani in Allu Arjun starrer ‘S/O Satyamurthy’, is reportedly part of a special song in ‘Jersey’. So now, she will reportedly be seen shaking her leg with Nani in this sport based drama. Adah Sharma is reportedly happy with the offer but yet to give her nod to do the song. However, there is no official word on the same.
According to Gautam Tinnanri, Jersey is a story about a late bloomer who realizes his talent at a certain age and pursues his dream to join the Indian cricket team. It is a period sports drama and the story takes place between 1986 and 1996.
Nani was last seen in multistarrer Devadas in which he was seen playing a doctor. Apart from Nani, the film has Akkineni Nagarjuna and Rashmika Mandanna is female lead.
