Lady Superstar Nayantara is the highest paid South Indian actress and she is popular for not participating in the promotional activities of her movies. She is getting huge remuneration without any hesitation. The actress follows a no promotion policy for her movies. Recently in an interview, Nayantara revealed why she doesn’t attend promotional events.
While all the actors and actresses are spending ample time for the promotions of their upcoming project, Nayantara is one who prefer to stay away from promoting her movies. Recently in an interview, she admitted that her job is only to act in the movie.
Nayantara added that she was a private person and she was not comfortable in the crowds. She added, “My job is just to act. The movies should speak for themselves not the promotion.”
On the work side, Nayantara was last seen in Megastar Chiranjeevi starrer Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. Except Nayantara, entire cast and crew participated the promotional activities.
She has already wrapped up the shoot of her next upcoming film Darbar starring Kollywood superstar Rajinikanth and Vijay starrer Bigil.
Earlier in the month of March, Radha Ravi took sly digs at Nayantara. He spoke at length about how she gets paid for the film but doesn’t attend events of her own films.
