Nandamuri Balakrishna had a huge success with the movie ‘Akhanda’ last year. He is currently working on a film directed by Gopichand Malineni. The title ‘Jai Balayya’ is being considered for this. There is a chance to announce the title of the movie during Dussehra season. Varalakshmi Sarathkumar is playing a key role in this movie with Shruti Haasan as the heroine. Duniya Vijay will be seen in the villain role.
The first look and teaser of this movie which was released before got a good response. This movie created a good buzz among the audience. Business is also going according to it. It seems that this movie has fetched a good rate for non-theatrical rights. It seems that the total rights were sold for Rs.58 crores. This is the first time in Balayya’s career that non-theatrical rights alone have received this amount.
The producers expect that the theatrical business will be more. Balayya is making this movie with the highest budget in his career. Director Gopichand Malineni is going to thrill the fans with Balayya’s mass look. Currently, the shooting of this movie is going on in Turkey. A song was filmed there on Shruti Haasan and Balayya. Some scenes are also being shot.
Balayya will be seen in a dual role in this movie which is being made under the banner of Mythri Movie Makers. This film is slated to release on Sankranti next year. There is also a chance of release before that. After this movie, Balayya will be doing another movie under the direction of Anil Ravipudi. They want to make that movie on a budget of eighty crores.
