It is known that Mahesh Babu will be working with SS Rajamouli for his next project tentatively titled SSMB29. The shoot of SS Rajamouli’s upcoming movie has not started yet. Rajamouli, who is best known for the highly successful RRR, is yet to start SSMB29. The story of this yet to be titled film has been penned by SS Rajamouli’s father, writer Vijayendra Prasad.
SSMB29 will be made on a lavish budget and is an adventure thriller with big names involved.
The sources say that SS Rajamouli is looking forward to collaborating with a Hollywood studio for Mahesh Babu starrer and the reports are coming that a team of Netflix approached Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu recently.
Netflix wants to associate with SSMB29 and co-produce the film. If this news comes true, Mahesh Babu and Rajamouli’s film will go to the next level in terms of marketing, release, and OTT reach.
SSMB 29 is touted to be a period adventure action drama that will showcase Mahesh Babu in a new avatar, on similar lines to Indiana Jones. At first, it was said that Mahesh Babu starrer might surpass the budget of Rs 500 Cr but as per the latest buzz, the budget will be touching about Rs 1000 Cr, which is going to be the first Indian film to attempt this feat.
