SS Rajamouli’ upcoming directorial venture ‘RRR’ featuring Jr NTR and Ram Charan as the freedom fighter postponed its release indefinitely. The much hyped movie RRR was originally planned for 30th July 2020 release but later it was first pushed to 8th January 2021. But due to the corona pandemic, the shoot was stalled.
As State government has given the permission to start the shoot, SS Rajamouli is planning to resume the shoot of RRR soon. According to a well-placed source, the release date of the period action entertainer RRR, has been pushed to 30th July, 2021, due to the coronavirus crisis.
The sources say that as the makers of RRR have to complete 25 percent of the remaining shoot with Bollywood actress Alia Bhat, who plays a crucial role, the production is going to take longer than expected. Adding to that, the CGI and other post-production work of Jr NTR and Ram Charan’ film will require at least six months. Keeping all these aspects in mind, the team is planning to lock 30th July 2021, as the new release date of the film RRR.
RRR is being produced by DVV Danayya and it is set in the pre-independent era. MM Keeravani is on the board to compose the music whereas KK Senthil Kumar is handling the cinematography.
