Suriya is coming up with an upcoming action and romantic drama NGK in which he will be seen sharing the screen space with Fidaa fame Sai Pallavi and Rakul Preet Singh. Suriya is playing Nanda Gopala Krishna in NGK and the entire shoot of the film has been already wrapped up. Directed by Selvaraghavan, NGK is carrying huge expectations. Going by the trailer, the movie NGK seems to be a political drama. When entire political system has turned into a rut, Nanda Gopala Krishna aka NGK decides to take into the plunge. Suriya aka Nanda Gopala Krishna is playing the role of a struggling youngster who tries to make an impact in politics. The trailer of NGK is giving hints that upcoming film will have action and entertainment. In NGK trailer, Suriya is seen angry and frustrated.
Apart from Suriya, Rakul Preet Singh and Sai Pallavi, NGK also has Jagapathi Babu, Mansoor Ali Khan, Thalaivasal Vijay, Vela Ramamoorthy, Ponvannan, Guru Somasundaram and Aruldoss, in supporting roles.
Suriya starrer NGK is the first Selvaraghavan film to release in over six years. His last release was Irandaam Ulagam starring Arya and Anushka Shetty, which was released in 2012. The movie is bankrolled by Dream Warrior Pictures. Sivakumar Vijayan is handling cinematography and KL Praveen is the editor. The film has the music by Yuvan Shankar Raja. NGK is slated to hit the theaters on 31st May.
