Recently Mega daughter Niharika Konidela, who tied the knot with Chaitanya Jonnalagadda, the son of Guntur’s Inspector General of Police J Prabhakar Rao, graced the popular Telugu chat show Alitho Saradaga and talked about various things from her profession to personal. During this interview, Niharika admitted that her husband Chaitanya Jonnalagadda doesn’t like her doing movies. And that is the main reason she left acting in the movies. Niharika also showered praises on Samantha Ruth Prabhu by saying, “Take Samantha for instance. Even after the wedding, her craze has only increased in the film industry. She is acting in the movies after the marriage too.”
The Mega daughter also revealed that she would be seen acting in a web drama but the actress did not reveal about her character but said that she was acting opposite Youtuber Nikhiluu.
Niharika has starred in web-series like Muddapappu Avakai, Nanna Koochi and Madhouse, which she had also produced. She made her debut in the movies with the 2016 movie Oka Manasu in which she shared the screen space with Naga Shaurya. She was last seen in Chiranjeevi starrer Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy which also has Tamannah Bhatia and Nayanthara in the lead roles.
On the otherside, Samantha will be seen shaking a leg in Pushpa: The Rise.
