Telugu actor Nithiin has completed 20 years in Tollywood today. He made his debut in 2002 with Jayam, which was helmed by Teja.
On this special occasion, Nithiin took to his twitter and wrote: “20 years ago, I embarked on my journey in the film industry with Jayam, which was my movie. Words simply can’t describe how I am feeling today but I will try. Firstly, I sincerely thank Teja garu for giving me my first break, recognizing the actor in me.
I thank all the producers, directors, actors, technicians, staff and crew of every movie I worked on. Without you, I wouldn’t be where I am today. I am grateful for this beautiful journey and thank everyone who sailed with me, by supporting and believing in me, through the highs and lows. Your love kept me going. Last, but not the least, heartfelt gratitude to my fans who sustained me by their unfading faith.”
Nithiin also won the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut for his performance in the movie Jayam. It also featured Sadha in the lead role and actor Gopichand as the main antagonist. The movie was remade in Tamil starring Ravi and Sadha in the lead roles.
On the work front, Nithiin is currently working for Macherla Niyojakavargam.
