Natural star Nani is gearing up to entertain the Telugu audience solo this week with much hyped movie Dasara. Except for Dasara, no any Telugu movies are releasing in theaters this week. Apart from Bollywood, there is competition in Tamil but no competition in Telugu. Dasara movie which is going to release on March 30 has found a huge number of theaters in Telugu states. It will be the most theatrical release in Nani’s career. In view of the hype of this film, it seems that there is a possibility of strong openings at the box office. Srikanth Odela is directing this movie which is being made as a mass action entertainer in Telangana backdrop.
This is the first time Nani is working for a film that has Telangana background story. Both Nani and national award winning actress Keerthy Suresh learned the Telangana accent and dubbed it themselves for this film. The movie is being released on a pan-Indian level.
On the otherside, Simbu and Gautham Karthik starrer Tamil movie Pathu Thala is going to release on March 30. N Krishna is directing this movie based on the successful Kannada film Mufti. Along with Pathu Thala, the Tamil film directed by Vetrimaran will release on March 31.
