Ahead of the grand release of Power Star’s Bheemla Nayak, the issue of film ticket price has been raised again in the industry. Already, the authorities of revenue department have been passed some statements to the theater managements across the state.
They ordered to collect the ticket prices according to the new GO number 35, that was sanctioned by the government of Andhra Pradesh after discussing the pros and cons related to the issue.
The government had mentioned in the notification which was formed in the name of the Tahasildar of Gudlavalleru that no extra shows or special shows will be allowed for Bheemla Nayak in AP, and the ticket rates should be fixed under GO no 35. If anyone crossed these orders issued by the government, then the govt would not tolerate them at any cost, and they will be treated unfairly under the Cinematograph Act. It also warned finally that it had issued the GO before the Bheemla Nayak release itself.
For an instance, the AP directorate had provided a tendentious GO to control the issue of ticket rates. It said the film tickets will be sold as mentioned in the GO, according to the area. The GO has been issued after the South Indian celebs’ meeting with Jagan. But since there is a dilemma left between the govt and the film industry concerning the ticket prices and extra show allowances for such big films.
